Accommodations

One of the main goals of West Coast Number Theory has always been to make the meeting accessible to everyone. As with the past two years, we have chosen a venue that should help us keep costs low, yet maintain the great atmosphere of previous meetings: the Lighthouse Lodge and Cottages.

It helps us greatly if our attendees stay at the conference hotel, as a this allows us to qualify for the group rates indicated below. Note that there are two sides of the property this year, which correspond roughly to the descriptions nice (Lodge), and nicer (Cottage). The conference itself will be held on the Lodge part of the property, and evening receptions will be at the Cottages.

Room Rates – Breakfast Included

Room Type Rate (per night)
Lodge Double Room $130.00
Cottage Studio $145.00

The above rates are for either single or double occupancy. The additional person charge is $10.00 per night. Children age 17 and younger can stay at no extra charge. Maximum room occupancy is four (4) persons. All rates are subject to tax at the prevailing occupancy and sales tax rate (currently 10.065%) and include a $2.00 Monterey County Tourism Assessment.

Lodge rooms are equipped with either one or two beds. Cottage rooms are slightly larger, and include a complimentary evening wine reception and chef-prepared breakfast. Lodge rooms include a standard breakfast.

Payment

Accommodations must be booked and paid directly through Lighthouse Lodge and Cottages. The cut-off date for the room block is November 16, 2016. Rooms booked after that date are not guaranteed the group rate. Please mention the group (West Coast Number Theory) when booking.

Sharing Rooms

If you are looking to stay on a budget, you are encouraged to find a roommate with whom you can share accommodations. If you need help finding a roommate, please contact the organizers, and we will try and put you in contact with another attendee.
